Bologna, Milan
Founded in 1978 by Franco and Roberta Calarota and later joined by their daughter, Alessia, the gallery links tradition with a new perspective. With an innovative approach, it has always dealt with two fundamental aspects of the art world: the market and institutional promotion. Many important collaborative relationships with museums and institutions have taken place (among them: the Metropolitan Museum in New York, the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid). The gallery also takes part in a selection of the world’s most important art fairs such as Art Basel (Miami Beach, Hong Kong), Tefaf Maastricht, The Armory Show in New York.
